Moo Moo

My husband's birthday last sunday, and even tough he always forget and surprised of why his parents or sister called him unusual time, I managed to get both of us out to have some dinner, it's been a long time since the last time we were out to a nice place, having good food and some vino.

This restaurant - Moo Moo has steak as their specialty. We were greeted by a big metal bull sculpture on the front door. The restaurant itself is located on the first floor, so we had to take a very nice wooden floored stairs which led us to the reception area. We were told that the kitchen are not ready yet so we sat on the bar/lounge area and got us a bottle of Vasse Felix - Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon - this is one winery in WA which is good.

Soon they were ready and we had our table. After fussing for sometime, the waitress came and actually gave some recommendation on how the steak should be cooked depending on the type of meat we selected.
I got myself some 300g Wagyu Rostbiff, which she said it's nicer to be cooked medium as the cut is quite thick.
My husband got himself some AACO Black Angus Sirloin.
Apart from that we got 3 sides; steamed asparagus, deep fried zucchini flower (which unfortunately, contains some ricotta cheese) and fries.

The steaks came in perfect taste and cooking condition..I just can't imagine how they got it all uniformly pink everywhere just beneath the outer layer (well, I guess that's why they have a nice steak restaurant to run). We both really pleased with our choice.

We got some sweet wine (and at that time we were to much carried away to re-think about how much it costs)).

It was a great night and great food and couldn't be more perfect company
